Urban and Minority Education
Richard March Hoe Professor Emeritus of Psychology and Education Edmund Gordon championed a social justice vision of providing all learners with access to the arts, after school programs and other supports. He founded TC’s Institute for Urban and Minority Education (IUME). This scholarship honors Gordon’s legacy, accomplishments in the fields of psychology and education, and his contributions to the national discourse on academic achievement and educational equity.
